AHT describes the heating material as amorphous metal ribbon. In this product, a flat electrical heating element sits within the mat. The complete floor construction, fitted output and controls determine its operating conditions and how heat reaches the room.
Compare the usable installed output, compatible flooring and complete floor construction for the same room. Element coverage alone does not establish even temperatures, running cost or whether a system can provide primary heat.
