Can underfloor heating go beneath LVT, laminate and engineered wood? Yes, it can, but the type of underfloor heating you choose makes a significant difference to the installation. The EkoBuild ribbon system can work beneath all three. It is only 1.8mm thick, requires no traditional screed and can be designed to provide the primary heating for the room rather than simply warming the floor.
