Why the 0.5m Ribbon

The narrow roll is for the bits a wide roll cannot reach. Hallways, small bathrooms, around toilets, basins and other fixtures. At 0.5m wide it fits tight runs and awkward shapes where the 1m roll is too big. It tapes straight to your subfloor with no screed, sits 1.8mm thin under your finished floor, and carries a 15-year warranty.

It is the same amorphous metal Ribbon with 300% more heating elements than a standard cable system, so heat is even with no cold stripes. With enough coverage it can run as the main heat in the room. Pair it with the 1m roll for open areas and use the 0.5m roll to fill in the edges and tight spots.

Which floors can I use the 0.5m Ribbon under?

Any floor. The 0.5m Ribbon goes under carpet, laminate, wood, vinyl and tile with no screed. It is 1.8mm thin so it adds almost no height to your floor.
